Hey hey everyone,
After a long time of planning, building, second-guessing, reworking, and quietly pushing forward, the Sword Hero Kickstarter is finally out in the world.
I don’t really have a big marketing speech for this one. Mostly, I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you.
Sword Hero started as a very personal project. A reaction to the kinds of RPGs I grew up with, and the feeling that something about them had slowly faded over the years. A world that does not wait for you. Systems that interact without asking for permission. A player who is not special, just persistent.
Seeing so many of you follow along, wishlist the game, test builds, point out flaws, and stick around through rough edges has meant more than I can properly put into words. This campaign exists because of that support, not despite it.
The Kickstarter is there for anyone who wants to help push Sword Hero further, or simply take a closer look at what I am trying to build. No pressure. Even being here, reading this, already matters more than you might think.
