WarpedSpace – UI, Scanning & Story Element Updates
This update focuses on improving UI clarity, expanding scanning gameplay, refining story elements, and fixing several immersion-breaking issues.
Updated Message Panel UI for better readability
Message Log now displays latest entries first
Message Logs have been renamed to Data Logs
Added glow effect to unread Data Pad screens
Scanning a Data Pad now correctly marks it as read
Updated UI elements to prevent overlap:
Landing Camera
Warning Banner
Ship markers updated to be more noticeable
Fixed several spelling and text issues across the UI
Mouse steering is now disabled when the Interact Panel is open
Added Active FPS Scanning System (Testing Phase | RMB with Scanning Tool)
New Scan Charge Bar
Active Scan Markers now appear while scanning
Scanning is active only when using the scanning tool (RMB)
Added a task prompting players to enter Scanning Mode
Added a new lore item to the Research Lab
Story items now index themselves correctly
Prevented duplicate story audio messages from triggering when loading in again
Base items can now be powered by a Base Core placed after the item
Ships now remember which mode they were in when loading back in
Updated available Suit Module list:
Equipped modules no longer appear in the Available list
Slight optimization to the Tasks List
Minor cleanup to the Key Helper system
Landing Camera no longer activates in inappropriate situations 😅
