Fakebook Is Now Available in English!

Fakebook is a Korean mystery story adventure game that was originally released last winter.

Since its launch, the game has been nominated for and won multiple awards.

And this year, it also won awards such as the Seoul Game Competition in South Korea, and Indie Craft.

Today, in order to reach more players around the world, we are excited to release the English version of Fakebook.

Full-scale translation work began earlier this year, and the English demo was first showcased this summer at BITSUMMIT in Kyoto, Japan. After a long journey, the English version is finally available today.

-

Fakebook features over 2,000 profiles of people of all ages, all interconnected through complex relationships.

The game reflects a globally familiar SNS culture, while also offering a glimpse into Korea’s uniquely fast-moving and highly reactive social media environment.

Translating this vast world of images and text was never an easy task.

With its black-comedy elements, memes, and densely connected relationships, fully translating Fakebook sometimes felt like an impossible dream.

However, thanks to extensive collaboration and support since the beginning of this year, we were finally able to complete the English update.

For Fakebook, preserving not just meaning but also tone, nuance, and voice was essential.

Because of this, the translation required extra care and attention throughout the process.

This translation project was carried out through a combination of professional translation teams, experts, and fan translations from our community.

Thanks to all of you, Fakebook can now reach a much wider global players.

We sincerely thank everyone who contributed.

Of course there are still areas where translation and localization can be improved.

In some cases, perfect localization required compromise, and while many bugs presented during the English update have been done, there may still be issues that need further review.

Starting with the update date, we will continue to closely monitor player feedback, inquiries, and ideas, and release ongoing updates both large and small.

For translation-related issues, please select "English" in the in-game inquiry menu to submit a translation issue. We encourage you to actively use the Steam Community and in-game inquiry menu while playing the English version.

We will continue to review all feedback and update the game accordingly.

Please look forward to Fakebook as it continues to improve.

More language support, DLCs, and additional content are planned for the future.

We will continue doing our best to return your support!

As always, we strive to bring you a more fresh and fun play experience.

Thank you, always!
