Ciao Pizza Managers!

You can now all play the Pizza Slice demo. Just visit the game’s store page and hit that tasty download button! Please remember that it is a pre-release demo, meaning it is not of final quality and the game might still change in the future. You might also stumble upon some minor bugs and will interact with gameplay features that remain a work in progress. Which is why we humbly ask for a bit of patience and understanding while playing the game.Having said that, we’re quite happy with how the recent playtests rolled out and this version is even more polished, so this should be an even smoother and more enjoyable experience.  We will of course be utterly grateful for your feedback and constructive criticism. It will further help us polish the game as we move towards the release. In the demo you will find a form to fill out in the Main Menu of the game. We are humbly asking for a few minutes of your time to do so.

The Scope of the Demo

The demo is a single player experience, which showcases the basic gameplay loop: from shopping for ingredients, through prep work, to creating pizzas, serving them and keeping your clientele satisfied. The game will allow you to play for 5 in-game days - enough to get a grasp for the mechanics and the flow of the game, while leaving an appetite for more.

You will be able to expand your restaurant, buy new equipment and boss your cousin around. You will also have the option to compose your own pizzas.

Demo Information & Requirements

Changes added to the game since the latest playtests

  • Improved tutorials. The game should now lead you through the game mechanics more intuitively.
  • Added additional texts to the tutorial to better explain certain gameplay mechanics.
  • Added the active recipe above the decoration station. You will be able to quickly look at it by pressing a corresponding button.
  • You will now see the amount of ingredients added to your pizza on screen through icons at the bottom of the screen.
  • You will now be able to hold more than one ingredient at the same time.
  • We’ve redesigned the way you roll the dough. Now you can click anywhere above the dough and just stretch it by moving your mouse around.
  • We’ve redesigned how the game scores the shape of the pizza. It is now less strict and allows for composing more creative forms.
  • You can now interact with clients through the gesture wheel.
  • Your shopping cart will no longer reset after you move away from a shop.
  • Improved the gamepad button layout.
  • Added new music to the radio.
  • Added new SFXs to the client NPCs..
  • Decreased the chance of how often a new client can enter the restaurant.
  • Decreased the chance of how often the restaurant will be the target of a sabotage.

We hope you will have fun with the Pizza Slice demo! And as you fine restaurateurs enjoy yourselves we shall continue on expanding the game. One of the big features still in progress is the Co-Op mode, in which a real life friend will be able to help you run your pizzeria (we cannot guarantee they will be more useful than Tonio’s favourite cousin though). We invite everyone to join the Pizza Slice Discord server, where you can talk with us directly or engage in discussions with your fellow pizza lovers.See you at the table! The Pizza Slice Team
