Since launch, we’ve seen quite a few of you asking for Community Items on Steam. And while we already have a few ideas of our own, we would also love to hear yours.
Use this post to share your ideas and suggestions about what you would like to see featured. Whether it’s profile backgrounds, emoticons, avatars, or frames, let us know what you’d be most excited about. While we can't promise that everything will be included, we would love to hear from you and see what we can do.
One way to get these items is through Trading Cards. Just collect a full set, craft a badge, and you’ll unlock rewards. It’s a simple way for anyone who owns the game to get cool customization just by playing and collecting cards.
If you like, some of these items might also show up in the Steam Points Shop, but that’s totally optional. The main thing is that you can unlock them just by playing and being part of the community. We want it to be super easy for everyone to grab and enjoy these goodies.
