Dear Travelers! Tomorrow is a big day for us, as the Winter Rework Update is scheduled to release tomorrow at 7 PM CET. Before you jump into it, we decided to restore our Demo app and give you a chance to see how much the game has changed and how stable it is after 3 months of deep systemic rework.
This time, the demo contains a full build of the main game, limited only by progression. It’s the same version you’ll be able to play tomorrow, and all your saves will carry over to the full release. If you already own the game, treat this as early access to tomorrow’s patch. If you don’t, this is the perfect moment to check out Hotel Galactic and give it a try.
To better explain how the Rework changes your experience, we recorded a Devlog with our new Technical Director, Adam Suchodolski. He talks about the issues our programmers faced, and the solutions we used to fix them properly, without just putting a plaster on top of the problems. For the more complex parts, we also prepared simple animations to help visualize what’s happening. We hope you’ll find it helpful. :)
