Hello!
300,000 views on Twitter for the trailer, 5,000 likes, 2,300 wishlists already...
Wow!
I never had a Youtube trailer on my channel get more than 400 likes over years, and this one got 2,000 likes over a few days!
Thank you so much everyone!!! ːsteamthumbsupː
Here is the first reference picture we've made, for the Chief of course!
Feel free to make fanarts. We will be adding an extras section in the game someday, kinda like the main BROK game. Post your art on socials and/or our Discord, and tag us @COWCATGames!
A lot of people asked "why is the demo only available for two weeks?"
The main reason is that, unfortunately, a lot of people react this way: "this game looks cool. Oh there's a demo! I'll play it someday"
Someday...
And that day never happens. I know that very well, because I'm like this myself. In this world with so many time wasters and near infinite content like socials, streaming services, everyone having a huge backlog of games...it's hard to compete for players time & attention.
In addition, Steam uses this information for their algorithms. The more people play it, the more the algorithm feels the game is relevant, the more visibility it gives.
So yes, we needed to give an incentive to actually download & play the demo (besides making an attractive game!)
That said, it doesn't mean it will be gone forever. We'll be working on translations, and hopefully more platforms. But nothing's certain yet.
For now, it stays available for one more week.
PLAY IT NOW!
Don't forget to wishlist (because yes, the algorithm also gives more visibility to the projects most wishlisted!)
