Hello everyone. It’s been a week since we released the demo, and we’ve gone through all your feedback and tried to fix as many issues as we could. But before we get to the list of changes, we want to say a few words.

First of all, we’re thrilled by your response! Thank you for the support and for believing in the project. We promise it’s only going to get better from here.

Second, along with bug reports, you’ve shared a lot of great ideas to improve the game overall. Some of them have already made it into this update. Others will take more time, so we’ve postponed them until release. Please keep sharing your thoughts in the comments — we read and note down everything.

Now on to the update:

  • You can now skip through dialogue using the spacebar

  • Added the option to turn off mouse click sounds

  • Added the option to turn off the typing sound

  • You can now switch between windowed and fullscreen modes

  • Fixed sound issues, like birds randomly chirping outside the grocery store

  • General sound tweaks and improvements

  • Fixed a bug where text formatting broke at larger font sizes

  • Minor improvements to text for better readability

  • Missing Steam icons added

  • A bunch of bugs fixed

  • Added a "Wishlist" button to the main menu

Huge thanks to everyone who has already played the demo. If you haven’t tried it yet, we’d love for you to check it out.

See you soon,

Dima and Max

Hi, this is Max, the writer of Deep Pixel Melancholy. A long time ago, starting with the first season of The Walking Dead, I played Telltale games and took notes on how to create branching stories. But it happened.…Community9 Aug 2026Spanish Localization and a New DemoMore exciting news: Deep Pixel Melancholy now has a European Spanish translation. Our friend Tobías J.
