TLDR:

For this update, you'll notice the new safezone that you'll load into once you press play. This place will play a much larger roll in the future. For now however, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and use the table inside the cabin to launch the asylum level. Check below to see specific update notes.

A lot of progress has been made this week. You'll notice that once you hit the play button, you'll be taken to a new area that will serve as a player hub, where in the future, you'll be able to choose what level you will like to play, and even further down the line, there will be many more exciting things to do there.

Major additions:

  • New Safezone map
  • Leaderboards (currently, it is only a template for now, but within the next few days, it will be functioning properly)
  • New HUD elements. (Right hand side, showing new players how to evade and access their weapon wheel)

Minor additions / fixes:

  • Volume slider for music
  • Volume slider for general sound
  • Shadows are set to high by default
  • Players will now start off with 500 points on a new game (We're testing the waters to see if this makes the start too easy)
  • Barriers now no longer break by themselves if there are no Screamers present
  • Two invisible walls on the first floor have been removed (before, players couldn't hit spawning Screamers in the hallway barriers)
  • The size of the picture preview in "buy the books" have been reduced by 25%
  • SMG now fires 50% faster
  • The sniper could penetrate multiple enemies without having the 5th attachment
  • Removed some instances of Screamers getting stuck on the barriers
  • You can now repair barriers by holding F instead of having to press it over and over again
  • Resolved a bug where the butcher kills you with one hit, regardless of what rank of buffer you had
  • Removed the backpack from the character
  • Removed two cots upstairs, allowing to train a line of Screamers easier
  • Achievements should be functioning properly. Before, they we're unlocked at inconsistent times, or not at all. Either way, we'll keep an eye out.

What to expect in the next few weeks:

With the asylum level being our "testing grounds" I am happy with the way it is. The formula of how the gameplay works is at a point to where I'd like to stick with it, and further expand it on more levels to come. So, with that said, the next update will be a few weeks away, but it will be a BIG one, possibly bigger than the game now, how it was at launch, so look forward to that.
I'm wanting to add an extra weapon to the game, a new, and bigger map, more playable characters, new Screamer models, and a few more additions to top it off.

Again, like always, you are welcome to leave your feedback here, our discussions page, and even look at our Trello to see the progress we're making.

Thanks for all of the support shown by everyone. I'm very eager to get a move on, and further expand this game into something bigger.

Mr. Ox

He was a player who originally played the old version of TC:WA a few years back. Recently, he has gotten in contact with me, and has played this game to a massive extent to where he has found some quality-of-life changing fixes that will benefit everyone! Even though I…Game update12 Jul 2026Update 1.5.2Hello all. Another week down and some extra things have been done to same the game more stable. Check out the fixes below. · Fixed the text from cutting out of the screen when picking up some items in the world. · Shifted the sniper tower a bit closer to the safezone fence. · The sniper tower blueprint now properly vanishes after being picked up. · Added some Jah-Goh's patrolling their camp. ·…Game update4 Jul 2026Update 1.5.1Hello everyone. Here is a small (but still chunky) update that adds some new features, plus a dozen or more fixes. New maps: · Jah-Gohs Camp · The tower These new searchable locations will allow the player to travel to one new friendly location, and one hostile location. More work needs to be done for these two maps, however implementing them now helps me get an idea on how to further tweak and…
