Hey everyone!! The next big update for Carnaval Simulator is almost here: The Community Update (1.2). This update is packed with new features, improvements, and fun additions to enhance the game's possibilities. As always, we value the input from our amazing community, so keep those suggestions coming on Discord! Now, let’s dive into the exciting features coming your way in this update.
Enhanced Visitor Interactions
1 of the biggest most exciting new features is the enhanced visitor interactions. Visitors can now engage in small talk, discuss the location, comment on the music, and even complain about the weather. They can also give compliments or criticize your float, talk about construction clubs, power outages, and much more. These dynamic conversations bring the parade to life and make the game more engaging than ever before.
Barrier Feature
When a lot of visitors come to watch your parade, barriers will automatically appear to manage the crowd. This feature adds to the realism and helps control the flow of spectators.
Standalone Tractors
Introducing the Standalone Tractor! Now, you can have your tractor float without needing to attach other carts. This gives you more flexibility and creativity in your parade designs. Experiment with different setups and see what works best for your vision.
To help you get started with the new Standalone Tractor feature, we’ve added a dedicated campaign level. This level will guide you through all the possibilities and nuances of using a standalone tractor, making sure you get the most out of this new feature.
Additionally, we’ve introduced a possible new trait for your floats: the Frontal Cart AI Preference. This trait gives more points for well-decorated tractors, encouraging you to put more effort into making the front of your float as impressive as possible.
Pop Up System
Our new Pop Up System will keep you on your toes with random fun news, warnings, and alerts. These pop-ups add an extra layer of excitement and unpredictability to the game, making each playthrough unique.
Better UI
We’ve revamped the main menu UI to include better descriptions and visuals of the location map. Now it’s easier than ever to navigate and understand the various options and settings available to you. Similarly, the campaign level menu has received a UI upgrade. Enhanced descriptions and a more intuitive layout ensure that you can jump into the action without any confusion. As well as an improved building menu UI for shadows, more items, slimmer and overall intuitive.
Unique Polyester Graphics
This will make your floats look more smooth and visually appealing, adding to the overall immersion of the game.
New Camera Scene: Rotation
We’ve added a fancy new camera rotation feature! This allows you to rotate the camera around your float, providing you with stunning new angles and perspectives.
Even when the game is paused, you can now rotate the camera around your float. This feature is perfect for taking a closer look at your work or planning your next move while on a break.

Development is ongoing, and we’re also working on blueprints, grouping, pulling tractors, adjusting cart lengths, decoratable generator cart, props for even more creative possibilities and much more!
