A new member has joined the team. The team? Well, when you're alone, you can't really say that, but, well, with 2, we're a team! Let's welcome Petrus properly! His contributions have been more than essential to Alvara!
What's New?
To start, Petrus has reworked all the in-game visuals!
Visuals aren't the only addition from Petrus. Together, we've thought about making the game more interactive. Previously, Alvara was a rich world but strangely empty. So, we set out to populate it: objects, plants, rocks, etc. Thus, the universe is much more alive, and most importantly, most objects are now interactive. You can pick them up to forge items or make potions! The forging system, although it existed from the beginning, is being perfected. Additionally, alchemy is making its debut in Alvara.
What Else?
Now, you'll have the opportunity to share much more with your team. In the camps, you can choose to sacrifice some of your rest time to chat with your companions. Whether it's for small concerns or real grievances, these discussions may even lead to new quests!
Anything More?
What else to say, except that the universe is now revealed more, thanks to an encyclopedia that fills up as you make discoveries and progress. Moreover, a calendar system has been introduced: now, Alvarian festivals and the world's history you discover are associated with key dates. But this new time dimension also creates pressure: some NPCs will ask you to complete missions within a specified timeframe.
And What Else?
The graphical aspect is being improved: menu harmonization, new graphic identity, etc. And most importantly, new maps are planned for the next update.
For now, these new features will soon be in the beta testing phase, which may take some time. But we are confident in announcing the upcoming launch of the game's continuation, which will resemble a true revival!
