Hello players! We wanted to take a minute of your time and talk about Element:Space a bit.
It is our first game as an indie studio, so we are very thankful to all of you who have been following us and playing it. Thanks you so much!

We will continue improving the game

When we started making Element: Space we wanted to make a game with its own identity. Our source material includes a series of characters with incredible abilities, which immediately drew us in to create a game based on the use of these skills and their interactions.

We recognise there’s room for improvement to better bring to light what we see and love about our game, so that you can experience it too.

Our commitment to making Element: Space the best it can be is a fact.

Bugs

We are mainly working on bugs reported by you, new ones that had not appeared in our QA supplier reviews or even by in our internal QA department. We will be making continuous fixes that will be reflected progressively in upcoming upgrades.

Improvements

The Early Access helped us a lot to improve the gaming experience, but there is still work to be done! Based on the community comments and reviews, the Sixth Vowel team is working non-stop on several features and we will be informing you real soon about the solutions we will be working on.

Our improvements will focus mainly on better feedback and clear information, so that you can engage in combat and levels with all the tools to make better strategic decisions. Another major focus is usability which can be always improved.

Fixes and Updates:

Upcoming Updates

  • We are improving in-mission enemy ability signaling so it's harder to get caught unprepared.
  • We will be improving briefing information in the galaxy map, so you can better plan your team composition. This will include better intel on Faction Perks and how they work.
  • We are cleaning up the save/load UX flow to make it smoother.
  • After a character is unlocked you will receive a short preview of their abilities, so you can get a feel of what they do without being forced to try them out.
  • In story mode, you will be able to restart a mission (not battles) with a new party without penalties. If a party isn't really working you can change it and try again.

Fixes Done in this quick patch

  • Ship Conversation between The Historian and Alice at the ship was fixed.
  • “Soul Possession” is now working for the SU soldiers (tough guys!) in all combats.
  • Fixed the movement bugs in the “Kingdom of Heaven” story mission.
  • Several un-localized content was found and some old localization content was updated.

Fixes Underway

  • We still have several localization issues that will be solved in the next update.
  • We are fixing some oddball situations in which enemies seem to be shooting in between walls.
  • We are checking the entire saving mechanic as we received several warnings from the community.
  • An important blocker found during the Big Finale combat on very specific occasions.
  • A minor blocker during Epilogues on specific occasions.

We hope you have a great time playing the game and remember we are always craving for positive reviews ːsteamhappyː

Spread the word and plan your turn!
