PurePings is the Game Server Provider that sponsored all of our world-wide servers (US West, Australia, China, Both England and Both Germany). I have just received notification from them that they are cancelling their sponsorship program. This mean in 48 hours, all the sponsored game servers will be shut down. We would still like to take this moment to profusely thank PurePings for their sponsorship as the servers helped everyone try the mod.
We also can't afford to rent the game servers as we don't have the necessary funds to do so. The Canadian game servers are remaining online though as i provide those myself.
I made a backup of all the player data (accounts and suits) and i will try to merge them into the Canadian servers. I don't know the exact time that PurePings will shut everything down, so rather than everyone losing any progress you made on the servers (since my backups will be old), im shutting down the sponsored servers now.
P.S. High Ping Kicker is no longer on the servers.
Hypernia/PurePings has decided to shut down its sponsorship program at the end of May. While this decision did not come lightly we feel the return weighed against our investment along with the ever increasing prices and shrinking market have forced our hand. It is with great sadness that we have to make this decision. We pride ourselves in supporting communities that keep gaming going, unfortunately we have no choice. Effective within the next 48 hours all game and voice sponsorships will go offline permanently. Anyone with web and VPS hosting sponsorships will go offline around mid to end of June. Please take this time to backup any data or notify your communities of the changes.
