Hello, Friends!
Today we’re thrilled to bring you two significant changes to No Place Like Home! The first one is that we’ve implemented controller support - a feature we know you’ve been eagerly waiting for, so now you can lie down on the couch and enjoy the game like never before! We hope your comfortable couch sessions with a gamepad in hand will be tons of fun!
The second addition is one that’s considerably bigger gameplay-wise and will let you play the game in a completely different style by letting some processes run hands-free while you attend to different quests or matters. We’re adding automated bots!
But before we jump into the details, we’d like to let you know that our newest game - Captain Pawsome - launches today in Early Access!
Captain Pawsome is a cozy 2D fishing game where you play as the titular captain. You’ll manage your own shop and upgrade your ship as you journey across the ocean, cleaning up the environment and catching tens of unique types of fish. If you’d like to set sail on a relaxing adventure with your own feline captain, be sure to check Captain Pawsome out!

Now, back to the automation - right now we’re adding 5 new stations, each with its own robot, that will perform a specific task related to your farmstead:
THE PLANTER ROBOT
This little fella searches for free plots of land and plants the seeds, if the robot has them in its inventory:
THE IRRIGATOR ROBOT
Automatically water the plants (or any plot that is not watered) using this useful blue liquid-dispenser:
THE HARVESTING ROBOT
This particularly useful four-legged green robot will take care of harvesting the crops and tree fruits for you, and even bring them back to put in the chest:
THE ANIMAL HANDLER ROBOT
This one is an animal lover! The Animal Handler, as the name suggests, collects animal products and brings them back to your chests (remember that you still have to pet your animals):
THE RESUPPLIER ROBOT
This practical mechanical buddy resupplies feeders and water in the animal buildings. Be aware, though, that it requires pet food in its inventory to operate feeders (it can’t create it on its own, it’s just a robot):
You can use these bots to fully automate your farming experience. Of course, you would still have to insert the seeds or animal food inside the robots, but as we already mentioned - that means you can go and do other stuff! Pretty amazing, don’t you think?
