No Place Like Home is out on Nintendo Switch!

In addition to the new patch, we have some more exciting news to share with you! No Place Like Home is now available on the Nintendo Switch thanks to our partnership with Merge Games!

Not only that, you can purchase it in both digital and physical formats. The digital version is already available, so you can grab it from the eShop! And if you prefer to have a physical copy to add to your collection, you can pre-order it today and it will be shipped to you as soon as it's released (planned release is summer 2023). So whether you're at home or on the go, you can now enjoy all the fun and creativity of No Place Like Home on your Switch!

Starting today, a new language option has been added to the game - the Japanese language! If you notice any errors or mistranslations, please let us know, we'll be happy to verify and correct any errors.

Game content updates

From adorable flower pots with animals peeking out, to a new language option, to a giant pig zeppelin, this update has it all! Here's what's been added in today's patch:

The media set

Perfect for binge-watching all your favorite shows (if your imagination allows it) while pretending you're not avoiding your responsibilities in the post apocalyptic world.

New wallpapers

There are lots of stylish new patterns to choose from, including simple designs, subtle florals, and even some cute animal prints. Whether you want to make a statement or keep it understated, there's a wallpaper to suit every taste.

Giant duck

But wait, there's more and it’s pretty quack-tastic. We’ve added a giant duck for all of you oversized, cute animal fans! That's right, now you can have a rubber friend that's almost as big as your house. It's up to you to find it and feed it as much rubber as you can!

Pig zeppeling and new cap

For those of you who prefer your decor to be a bit more airborne, we've added a pig-zeppelin. That's right, a floating pig! There’s also a new, oinktastic pig-zeppelin-themed cap for your animals to wear while they attend their funky parties.

Swing

LNext one is a swing decor item. Now you can pretend you're a carefree child again, letting your pet chicken swing back and forth.

Chickilla

For final one we have added giant Chickilla! Travel the world, find secret statues and summon the biggest chicken in the world!
To avoid spoiling too much here is a in engine preview ;)

Final battle fixed

We have also fixed final battle, now our final boss is more challenging and requires some skill and reasonable time to be defeated. We hope that you will enjoy this change!

Fishing patch status update

We would also like to extend our sincerest apologies to all of you awaiting the fishing patch. We know that it's been a long time coming, and we understand how frustrating it can be to wait for something you're excited about. We want to assure you that we haven't forgotten about the fishing patch, and it's still in the works. However, we want to make sure that it's perfect before we release it to you. The fishing patch is going to include an entirely new area, activity, and a bunch of fishes for you to catch. This means that there's a lot of work that needs to be done, but we promise it will be worth the wait. Again, sorry for the delay!

Controller support

Last but definitively not least the topic of controller support. There is no other way to put it rather than we are sorry of how this turned out.
This was our first digital project ever and we realized rather too late that we are not fully aware what full controller support means.
At the moment you can play and finish the game with controller and this is what we thought was fine.
Based on your feedback and negative reviews we can see its not good enough and we need to make it better. We just need to know what exactly are your expectations?
Is alternative version of tutorial for controller and key bindings for controller are good enough or do you need some more? Please let us know!
