September Announcement!

Saddle Up and Drive · published 24 Sep 2023, 11:14 UTC

It is with great pleasure that we announce the September updates. It has been a very intense month in terms of game development, as we have been working on multiple fronts simultaneously.

As previously mentioned, we have improved the police AI, making pursuits more balanced, exciting, and anything but easy. The introduction of roadblocks requires greater focus on driving: if you get distracted during a getaway, you risk having your car wrecked in no time!

We've also upgraded the logic for traffic flow: now, in case of a traffic jam, drivers will autonomously try to maneuver their way out of the congested area, unless 'someone' causes further disruption...

The composition of the soundtracks has required (and will continue to require!) many hours of work. Our goal is to create a vast musical repertoire to enrich the game's atmosphere and make the overall experience rich and evocative.

Our target for October is to conclude the development of the 'Homemade Syrup' smuggling missions, including all specially designed characters and diversifying the various types of products based on the difficulty of reaching the buyer or the unexpected obstacles that may be encountered.

Have any suggestions or questions? Feel free to write in the comments; they are always welcome!
