This update mainly focuses on bug fixes, technical improvements, and overall stability, with several quality-of-life adjustments across the game.

Gameplay Improvements

  • Adjusted hovercraft behavior:

    • The backward input now triggers strong braking while the vehicle is still moving forward.

    • Reverse only engages once the vehicle speed has dropped sufficiently.

  • Added visual and audio feedback when the inventory is full.

  • Notifications and dialogue widgets now display the player’s actual keybinds.

  • Improved HUD readability with smoother, more fluid animations.

  • Invisible or conditional objectives are now correctly handled by the quest tracker.

Graphics & Performance Improvements

  • Full update of upscaling, frame generation, and anti-lag technologies:

    • XeSS 2.3

    • DLSS 4.5 (January 19 release, reduced artifacts)

    • FSR 4.0.3

  • Added XeFG (XeSS Frame Generation), compatible with all GPUs.

  • General stability and performance optimizations related to rendering.

  • Recalibrated atmosphere and directional lighting for improved horizon visuals.

  • Optimized ship smoke trail effects.

  • Adjusted ship audio.

Bug Fixes

General Stability

  • Fixed multiple memory leaks causing crashes during level transitions.

  • Fixed a multiplayer crash when joining a server, related to player identifier resolution.

  • Secured level transitions to prevent cross-session data corruption.

Quests & Progression

  • Complete rework of the quest save system to ensure reliable persistence of quests and their states between sessions.

  • Added global flags to the quest system for more reliable saving of player progression and states.

  • Fixed an issue where quest states could be lost when joining a game from another session.

  • Updated the quest system with:

    • new conditions leveraging the new flags,

    • improvements to existing conditions.

  • Optimized the first-cycle quest flow, with improved timing and additional polish.

  • Fixed automatic assignment of story quests and notification display after completing the tutorial.

Physics & Simulation

  • Fixed jittering issues on ragdolls and corpses.

  • Fixed gravity application on cables.

  • Improved cable physics:

    • corrected interaction distance,

    • cables no longer intersect with themselves,

    • resolved socket conflicts when connecting cables.

Vehicles

  • Fixed brake lights remaining enabled by default or not reacting correctly.

  • Corrected braking visual effects triggering based on physical inputs.

  • Improved vehicle realism:

    • directional brake light handling,

    • reactive reverse lights based on player inputs.

UI & UX

  • Fixed the “typewriter” effect on dialogue text.

  • Fixed HUD animation issues when completing objectives.

  • Removed incorrect hardcoded keyboard key references from hints and dialogue.

  • Complete rework of the death screen, featuring:

    • new visuals,

    • additional information and player statistics.

  • HUD refactor with smoother animations and colors aligned with the game’s art direction.

  • Improved input feedback: notifications now display the player’s actual keybinds.

Missions & Content

  • Removed outdated or broken missions while keeping the related NPCs in place.

  • Removed obsolete missions in the Sky Tower.

  • Fixed seating points in certain missions.

  • Removed seating points from the tutorial.

  • Fixed the tram number displayed in the tutorial mission.

  • Fixed the motorcycle mission: the Sablone map is now correctly awarded at the end of the mission.

Known Issues

  • Missing ground foliage

    • In some cases, ground foliage may not appear correctly.
Reloading the game or restarting the session should resolve the issue.

  • Quest giver scan trackers

    • Scan trackers targeting quest givers may remain visible even after the quest has been completed.

  • Lumen performance in Cinematic quality

    • Using Lumen in Cinematic quality can have a severe impact on performance, especially on mid-range or GPU-limited systems. We recommend lowering this setting if you experience performance drops.

  • Blurry image / soft rendering

    • If the game appears blurry, please check that your Render Scale is set to 100% in the graphics settings.

  • GPU-bound performance and DLSS

    • Players with strong CPUs but GPU-limited setups may benefit significantly from the updated DLSS.
The new version offers noticeably improved image quality, and using the Balanced mode can provide a good compromise between performance and visual fidelity.

Thank you for your continued feedback and support.
