Utopia Colony has got an update!
Utopia Colony now supports placeable base buildings. When you buy a building that can be placed in any location, you will now see an above the base view of the placeable area. Drag & drop the building to the place you would like it to be, rotate it, and click finish. The terrain is automatically dug out to fit the newly placed building. If you are not happy with the placement, don't worry, you can move all building when the placing mode is active, and you can also move the buildings at any time later (for some credits).
The pic above shows how your base can look with some of the placeable buildings we currently support:
- Greenhouse -- produces vegetables, fruits, etc.
- Storage -- stores ore, volatiles, etc.
- Metal refinery -- refines metal ore
- Composites refinery -- refines composites
We have also added some other improvements:
- Recover rovers -- Got your rovers stuck? Get rover assistance for a few credits.
- Marketplace -- Buy and sell refined composites and metal ingots.
- Base models -- We have made some minor fixes to the main base models.
- Map -- We made some minor fixes to the area map (in the base).
