Evershine 2026 New Year Plans

Howdy Governors,

As we got back to work after the New Year and started reviewing our progress and planning the roadmap for 2026, it really hit us, My Time at Evershine has already been on this journey with you for quite some time. Today, we just want to share a few things openly and talk a little about where we’re heading next.

Our ideal development timeline is now firmly set: our goal is to launch within 2026, and we’re aiming to release on PC and consoles at the same time. For our Kickstarter Alpha backers, we have a major update planned for this year.

Targeting mid-year, we’re getting ready for a big update! This drop will feature the fresh story content, plus a bunch of NPCs we know you’ve been excited to meet. We’ll also be kicking off the first round of co-op multiplayer testing, so you’ll finally be able to team up with friends and build a settlement together.

After this update, we’ll be shifting into the final sprint. This isn't just about fixing bugs; we’re still fleshing out the world. We’ll be finalizing the remaining game systems, completing the story content for the full release, and ramping up console porting.

We’ll be locking in to focus on the V1.0 launch. We aren't closing the door on updates entirely. If development goes smoothly, we might just drop a surprise update to let Alpha backers test out some new mechanics later in the year. No promises, though - we want to keep the quality high!

And of course, to keep a bit of suspense, we’ll be keeping the ending content under wraps until the full release. That means even the Alpha players won’t know how everything wraps up… though, knowing our community, we’re sure some of you, sharp-eyed detectives, will still manage to sniff out a hint or two.

With the Chinese New Year just a few weeks away, everyone is looking forward to the holiday and family time. But don't worry, we’re not slowing down! The whole team is giving it their all to get the project into solid shape before the break, so our next update can show real progress.

Time is tight and the workload is intense, but with all your support behind us, we’re feeling both confident and motivated to keep pushing.

Let’s keep building this new home together, step by step.

See you at the frontier.
