Hi, friends!

It’s been a week since launch. Thank you for your support, your reviews, and all the bug reports. We haven’t had a weekend yet: over the past week we shipped 5 hotfixes, and today we’re planning our first major patch. After that, we’ll finally take a couple of days off—we didn’t really celebrate New Year’s because of work, so we want to do it a bit late. New hotfixes will resume on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Of course, this is only the beginning of Pathologic 3 support. Here’s what we’re focusing on in the near future (no hard deadlines yet—we’re still catching our breath):

  • Stability & bug fixes. This is the top priority. We’ll keep fixing the game over the coming months until we reach a high level of stability and comfortable gameplay—without bugs and softlocks. Work on this continues at the start of next week and will take as long as it needs.

  • QoL improvements. We’re collecting ideas—keep them coming! For example, we’re already working on:
the ability to change dialogue font size
subtitles in cinematics in any language

  • A little more content. Our writers really want to add a couple more dialogues for the residents of the Stillwater, for example. Because clearly the game doesn’t have enough dialogue. We’ll do it as long as it doesn’t break saves.

  • Steam Deck. We’ll soon release a small patch that improves Steam Deck support, but full support isn’t a priority right now. We’d like to come back to this later—when we have something worth sharing!

Thank you again for your feedback and reviews—they help us find and fix the most impactful issues faster. Please keep telling us what breaks and where things “aren’t the way they should be”—we’re reading.

And by the way—if you missed it, from now on every post we publish will include a unique piece of in-game art or a portrait.

Behind the scenes, it’s easier to breathe now.

Community25 Jun 2026Pain, Difficulty, Shabnak, and Other Topics: A Pathologic 3 UpdateHello everyone! This is Alexander Souslov, producer at Ice-Pick Lodge and game designer of Pathologic 3. The studio has been quiet for a while. We needed a moment to catch our breath. The team had no New Year holidays, and frankly, no vacations at all while working on the game's updates. But we weren't silent because we were lounging on a beach, eating watermelons and baursaks (if you've never…In-game event17 Mar 2026Update #6Hi, friends! Update #6 is out. This time we tuned several noticeable things at once: improved a bunch of Mind Palaces , made the interface more flexible (all the way up to toggling the HUD with a single button), added more menu sounds — and yes, we updated the door sound when leaving the Polyhedron ! On top of that, there’s a batch of logic, visual, and performance fixes, including improvements…In-game event2 Mar 2026Update #5Hi, friends! Update #5 is here. We continue to methodically knock the weirdness out of the game: broken decrees and busted quests, doors that shouldn’t be open, districts you suddenly can’t enter, and other adventures in system logic. And we’ve finally admitted the obvious: there’s nowhere to put the pistol and the Prototype, so they now honestly sit in their proper slots. Changes: · Glued the…
