Unlocked achievements (finally not only in spirit)

Hey everyone!

Recently, some of you reported that two achievements in the Prologue – “Imperial March” and “Photoshoot” – refused to unlock. And yes, you were right. They didn’t just “not want to” — they simply refused to cooperate. ːsteamfacepalmː

After the engine update, my achievement system did a backflip, crashed into the Steam API, and pretended it was the players’ fault. It wasn’t. It was mine. This is normal in development — sometimes something breaks after an engine update. What matters is that it’s now fixed and works properly.

In this update I fixed everything and tested it the way I should have done from the start. If you previously tried to unlock something and the game acted like it didn’t know you — it won’t do that anymore.

I read all your feedback — the kind ones, the constructive ones, and the ones that hit straight in the chest like a hammer. That’s how it is when you make a game alone: you think you’ve figured everything out, and then a player shows up and proves you wrong. ːsteamsaltyː And that’s okay — it makes the game better.

Thank you to everyone who reported issues and to those who weren’t afraid to say directly that something was wrong. Those messages feel like a cold shower — you don’t ask for it, but you appreciate it afterwards. ːsteamthisː

If you notice anything else — feel free to tell me. I’m here, listening, fixing, tweaking, and in upcoming updates I’ll be working on full Valve Index support, because I know some of you look at me from behind the VR lenses with a hint of disappointment.

Thanks for your time, patience, and all the good (and slightly less good) words. ːsteammockingː

Cheers, Masashige
