We are starting a new development phase with two distinct versions of the game, both available as separate Betas on Steam.
Our goal is to give players the freedom to choose between the traditional Animalia experience and the Crossplay version via Epic Online Services (EOS).
We will now have two permanent Betas inside Steam:
Nenhum (Default): The traditional version, just like it has always been since the beginning of Animalia.
Crossplayer (EOS): The former Public Test, now renamed and focused exclusively on Crossplay with Android.
This will be the main and standard Steam version.
No EOS, no Crossplay, and no Epic login.
All Epic-related integrations have been fully removed due to conflicts and bugs with the Steam system.
This version includes all the new content: new meshes, new playable animals, and the GMC system.
This is the classic base version, as players have known since the start of Animalia.
This version will remain separate as a dedicated Beta.
We have fully restored all Epic Online Services (EOS) functionality and Epic login.
Active Crossplay, initially with direct integration with Android.
This version will not be merged with the default version (Nenhum/Default).
Players will be able to choose freely between the two versions from their Steam Library.
Both versions will receive the same content updates.
This means:
There will not be two separate games with different content.
Any update or adjustment made in one version will also be implemented in the other.
We will constantly monitor both projects to ensure that maps, characters, and content remain synchronized.
Nenhum (Default): 4 official servers (3 with 50 slots and 1 with 100 slots).
Crossplayer (EOS): 3 official servers (all with 50 slots).
All servers will temporarily run in Sandbox mode, allowing players access to all animal growth stages.
We are finishing an important fix for the "Plain" map materials.
Some changes applied in the Default version were not yet included in the Crossplayer version, but they will be delivered by tomorrow afternoon at the latest.
We will also implement the following fixes:
Fixing the issue where the Baby Male Lion became transparent after birth.
Adjusting the Lioness model stretching issue when using the buffalo animation.
Reviewing tree climbing points to improve climbing mechanics.
Additional adjustments currently under testing.
We will soon announce a new map inspired by the old "AfricanMap", but with a new name, a completely renewed look, and a much larger area.
The release will happen gradually, area by area.
Thank you all for your continuous feedback and support throughout this improvement process.
