Welcome to the November 2025 Funguys Swarm Dev Update!
Our second major update: Egglosseum is coming November 13th, 9am PST. ARE YOU READYYYYY??!
In this blog, we'll take you on a tour of our Egglosseum, introducing the new Debuff Mutation system, four new global upgrades, and new Shroom Shop upgrades. We'll also share updates about the upcoming price increase and our updated roadmap.

Uh... okay. Apparently, this chaotic little mouse goes by Nutcase! He's a CRAZY mouse with crazy gameplay. He is a dash-powered character, the more you dash, the faster and crazier he gets!

Egglosseum Arena
Egglosseum Arena is a different kind of arena where you’re trapped inside a ring surrounded by chickens!
Hazard: Chicken Attack!

The chicktizens watch you fight, and... just felt the urge to join, so they jumped to the ring!

Debuff Mutation
[Ah yes, violence comes in three flavors]
Debuff mutation is a passive card that enhances specific debuffs such as Shock, Mark, and others. It is unlocked when the conditions for it are met. Debuff mutation allow you to create powerful build based on specific debuffs.
For example, if you get skills that inflicts Shock, one Debuff Mutation let's say 'Shock - Critical Discharge' might be offered as a passive card upgrade.
Here is an example Debuff Mutation below:

New Upgrades
Sanctuary Ponds:
Sanctuary Pond now have 4 new global upgrades:
- PowerUp Drop Chance:Increases the chance for PowerUps to drop from enemies.
- XP Gain: Increases the XP gained from XP Beans.
- Rare Weapon Upgrade Chance: Increases the chance for Rare weapon upgrades to appear more often.
- Epic Weapon Upgrade Chance: Increases the chance for Epic weapon upgrades to appear more often.
Shroom Shops:
The Shroom Shops now have 9 new upgrades:
- Treeling Slot 2: You can now bring 1 additional Treeling into your runs.
- Treeling Slot 3: You can now bring 1 additional Treeling into your runs.
- Treeling XP Gain: Treelings now level up faster.
- Life Companion: Increases your pet’s attack cooldown and movement speed by 50%.
- Stay Close Buddy: When you are near your pet, you deal 10% more damage.
- Full Revive: When you revive, your HP is now fully restored.
- Re-Roll Pack: Gain 3 Re-Roll Tokens.
- Banish Pack: Gain 3 Banish Tokens.
- Lock Pack: Gain 3 Lock Tokens.
Price Increase Notice
The price of Funguys Swarm will increase from $4.99 to $6.99 starting November 13, 2025 9am PST, right alongside the release of the Egglosseum update!
Since launch, we’ve added new arenas, enemies, bosses, and tons of upgrades, and we’re not slowing down!This small change helps us keep developing the game and adding more content without compromising quality. We’ve included an updated roadmap below, with Egglosseum up next and another major update planned for January, we think the price increase will be well worth it! See what you’ll get below:

What is next?
That’s all for now, folks, but we're just getting started! The next updates are already in motion, including:
- Improved Game Progression:We’ve been listening closely to your feedback, and we’re overhauling how progression feels — smoother early growth, more exciting mid-game choices, and a stronger sense of long-term accomplishment. This is our biggest focus in the upcoming update!
- New arenas:Fresh new arenas to master.
- More content and Surprises:Expect more upgrades, balance tweaks, and maybe a few hidden treats along the way.
