New: Head tracker assignment
If you have a tracker mounted on your headset - the kind a space
alignment tool reads as its reference - you can now mark it as Head.
A tracker marked this way is left visible instead of being hidden, so
the tool it belongs to keeps working. It can be unassigned again at
any time.
What we believe is fixed:
- Virtual trackers ending up far from their real trackers when a space
alignment tool is in use. This should now correct itself, but it has
only been confirmed on our own setup so far.
- Controller buttons and thumbsticks not responding. The virtual
trackers now report the same SteamVR controller type that other
tracker drivers use, which we believe was the cause. We have not been
able to reproduce the original problem here, so we cannot confirm it.
Both of these are fixes we expect to work rather than ones we have seen
work in the situation they were reported from. If you were affected by
either, we would like to know whether this build helps - and equally, if
something that used to work no longer does.
To switch back, select the default branch again at any time.
