We've pushed a small update to the Midnight Moments demo today.
The main change
When you start a new game, you'll now be dropped into an already-built diorama rather than an empty grid. It's a small thing, but we found that having something already there when you open the game makes it much easier to get started.
You can immediately start adding to it, tearing it apart, or just taking inspiration from it before building something of your own. There is also an option to just delete it entirely.
Plus
A handful of bug fixes and some UI improvements under the hood:
fixed light reflection issue
tweaked asset placement "out of bounds" (e.g. placing a facade on a wall that is the edge of the bound)
fixed all thumbnails
fixed posters and graffiti
fixed some placement issues with pavement
fixed UI issues with highlighted categories
We'll be back with more as we continue to work on the full game. As always, if you spot anything odd, drop it in the bugs channel on our Discord.
