Back from gamescom with a midweek package: a Lab with more to find, faster seasons, a quieter tutorial and smoother frames.
Added
- More Lab recipes, less junk
- 55 more cards have a + upgrade. Pair two of the same to get it
- Recipes you find yourself land in Known Blueprints
- A subtler tutorial. The basics explain themselves in one sentence, the first time they come up. Switch it off next to New Run
- More quota celebration. Rainbow trails in the background, more of them the further past quota you get
- New painted icons for money, action points and seasons
Changed
- No more season title card. A season now starts straight on the quota panel
- The Lab hands you your card if you leave with it on the bench, and shows a new blueprint before you go
- Module and reward pickers show you what is on offer before you commit
- Continue stays hidden on the reward screens until every reward is picked
- Cards you cannot afford stay put, and clicking the hand puts an aimed card back down
- Cards only glow for a modifier that would actually change them
- A refused harvest tells you the crop is not ripe yet
- The first launch follows your Steam language. English and German for now
Balance
- Season length: 12 -> 10 turns
- Crop grow times come down with it: Melonana 3 -> 2, Sunwheat 4 -> 3
- Opening seasons: 8, then 9, then 10 turns. Boss phases stay at 12
- Snap Harvest: 2 -> 1 AP, shop price 9 -> 14
- Cherry Pick: 2 -> 1 AP
- Strategic Realignment: 1 -> 2 charges, and no longer taxes free cards
- Coupon Cactus: grows in 2 -> 1 turn, pays 5 -> 10 a turn while it stands
- AI Smart Broker: 15 per 3 crops planted -> 25 per 2
Fixed
- Smoother frames on card draws, money showers and season starts
