Idosra: The Electric Renaissance · published
We are excited to announce some upcoming events we will be participating in during the rest of August and September. In addition, we have an update to our timeline for Idosra Engine 2.0.0
Raleigh Retro Gamers is presenting their annual Game and Geek Expo in Raleigh, North Carolina! We will be joining their Indie Developer Showcase, along with several other indie developers in the Triangle region.
Game and Geek Expo 2026 is held at the Raleigh Convention Center. More information about the event can be found on their official page here: https://gameandgeekexpo.com/
Triangle Interactive Arts Collective will be holding two playtest nights at their Durham office location, Frontier RTP Building 800 at 800 Park Offices Dr. These are monthly events. We will be joining other regional Indie developers showing updates to their games. In our case, we will have a preview of "The Electric Renaissance" running on Idosra Engine 2.0.0 and gathering early feedback before our full beta run.

We are making steady progress on our port of "The Electric Renaissance" to the Godot-based Idosra Engine 2.0.0. The back-end code is complete, and we are now onto the final "big task", converting all of "The Electric Renaissance"'s 72 levels to the new data formats. There will still be a few minor tasks to attend to once this is done, but we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.
We are far enough along to begin live alpha testing. In-person events will allow us to take careful notes, make observations, and catch as many bugs as possible before the larger-scale beta. We are happy with the way Idosra Engine 2.0.0 is looking and are confident it will bring some exciting new features to "The Electric Renaissance" and set us up on a solid foundation to build "Idosra 2: Subtitle-to-come"!
