Excited to announce that Folk Emerging will release on August 26th, 2026!
I had been aiming for a July launch window, but based on the Next Fest feedback, a few more weeks will let me make some important balance and design improvements, especially around diplomacy, combat, and AI. It also gives the game a better launch runway on Steam after their recent changes to upcoming releases and personal calendars.
In the meantime:
