Greetings!
Steel Wolverines is wrapping up its 8th month of development. With Skirmish Mode working satisfactorily, the campaign improving (kind of), and the map editor functioning properly, the main focus has now shifted toward releasing the demo.
The first demo release is planned for the first two weeks of September.
The demo will feature one meeting engagement scenario on a map based on Zubriai, Lithuania, playable as NATO. The main goal of this version will be to gather feedback on the game mechanics currently implemented.
You will be able to choose the time of day and weather conditions before the battle.
The scenario will feature units such as:
K2GF and PL
Borsuk IFV
Bóbr-3
Goblin UGV
Leopard 2A8
Puma S0
Boxer Skyranger
T-72B3
T-90M
BMP-3
BMP-2
Tigr
Ural-4320
Kurier UGV
Various infantry units, drones, cope cages, and jammers will also be present.
Off-map artillery and counter-battery mechanics are still being developed.
UGVs also require more work. Since they are implemented as a separate system combining elements of both vehicle and infantry code, they can still cause bugs and are currently in need of a rework.
Enemy AI.
The second version of the demo will be released for Steam Next Fest. It will feature a second scenario, this time playable from the Russian side.
If you have questions about what this project actually is, you may find some answers in the Steam Discussions thread:

Not yet, should be ready for demo release.
As always, be sure to wishlist the game if you like what you see!
