The scope of the hotfix has increased significantly this past week. As such we're now considering this Patch 1.1.0, bringing changes to gameplay and balancing in addition to the improvements we mentioned before!
This increase in scope does mean we aren't quite able to get it out in time for the weekend. We didn't want to rush QA stability checks, so we need a bit more time.
In return, here are a couple more things you can expect in this patch:
Increased attacker starting tickets on all maps.
Support for private matches on consoles.
More bayonets for the Ottoman Empire to get them in line with the British Empire.
Melee weapon buff.
Ordered bots to be better team mates.
Downed players appear on the minimap.
...and much more!
Hello everyone!
We hope you’ve been enjoying Gallipoli! It’s been great watching all of you play the game and reading your lovely messages.
The team has been overwhelmed by your feedback on the game (in a good way!), and we’re working on a hotfix that should tackle some common issues. The original plan was to have that out this week, but external issues out of our control forced us to push it to next week.
In order to not leave you in the dark, we wanted to at least share with you today what we’re working on to fix in the immediate future:
Inconsistent hit registering or invincibility.
Random disconnects & connection issues.
Performance issues like crashing and stuttering, especially on consoles.
First person FOV on ultra-wide monitors making weapons appear larger than intended.
Key rebindings not sticking properly.
Room codes to more easily share what match you're in.
Additionally, there are a couple of the things we’re actively looking into or working on, but unlikely to tackle by next week:
Overall weapon balancing – including pistols, but improvements to hit registering should already help here.
Changes to the FOV slider.
Improvements to make it easier to join your friends.
Thank you all for your support and patience!
