You've spent countless hours healing an alien ocean. Now, with your support, we're helping heal our own.
On behalf of our community, we're donating $100,000 to The Ocean Cleanup, a non-profit organization that develops and scales solutions to rid the world's oceans of plastic pollution.
This collaboration means a lot to us. Caring for the ocean has always been at the heart of Subnautica, and we were proud to support The Ocean Cleanup back in the days of the original game. Continuing that work with Subnautica 2 felt like the most natural way to honor what this community has built together.
And we didn't want to stop at a donation. Some of our team members grabbed their gear and headed to the beaches and shorelines near their own homes, doing their small part in person. Here's what that looked like:
