Potatoes and beets are now available for your farm! You can find them in the agricultural stores, get them in the ground, and watch their growing stages from seed to harvest.
Whether you farm in the old era or the modern one, there's a machine built for the job. Use one of the eight new era-specific machines:

Not sure which tool fits? Your AI helper can give you a hint if you need one. It also supports planting both potatoes and beets, and it picks the correct machinery for whichever era you're farming in.
When it's time to bring the harvest in, the new potato and beet harvesters show unloading targeting indicators. The indicator turns green when you're lined up above a compatible trailer or chute, so you won't have to guess.
Dedicated potato and beet storage are ready for your bountiful harvests, each with a capacity of 40 tonnes. To keep your operation tidy, storage facilities, silos, seeders, planters, harvesters, and selling chutes now only accept their intended contents, so nothing ends up where it doesn't belong.
When you're ready to sell, new dedicated potato and beet selling chutes have been added near all three grain silos. Prices for both crops are on the market map, and the market now moves with price fluctuations, so keep an eye out for the right moment to sell.
Your farm statistics menu has been reformatted to keep track of everything, now including your stored potatoes, beets, and their seeds.
