Upcoming Enhancements in a Major Patch

Thanks to the feedback of our players, I will be placing these changes in a major patch.

There is no date yet, but what is important is that these are being worked on.

This game will be maintained "forever".

The priority as of now is to fix any crashes or game-breaking bugs - of which we have had none so far.

Here are the upcoming changes.

  1. Addition of a Settings Screen Players will be able to adjust the following: Master Volume, Music, Sound Effects, Controller UI, Keyboard Bindings, Gamepad Bindings, Window Mode, and Screen Size.

  2. Replace all NPC Icons with NPC images - Currently, when the battle starts, what is being shown are NPC icons, which do not look good on the battle scene. They will ALL be replaced by actual NPC images.

  3. Widescreen - The game will move from a Game Boy size (160x144) to a true 1920x1080 widescreen game. This will impact a lot of things in the game - both in the overworld and in the battle scene.

  4. Improved battle scene - In the future battle scene, you will see not only the creatures (Lnx) battling, but their trainers as well. The battle will become more transparent and accessible as we now have plenty of space beneath the trainers.

The placeholders below will contain info panels that can aid players on deciding their next action

  5. Improve the positioning of the NPCs and their items - this might be the most common pain point for all players.

  6. Name your character

  7. Add a Nickname to your Lnx.

As I have shared above, this game and its sequels will be maintained forever.

Just so you know, you are not just playing the first game, but whatever Lnx you acquire will be transferable to the sequels and to the upcoming standalone game, Battle Frontier. Online battles will also come.
