Demo v0.3.0

Version 0.3.0 of the Fragment Collapse Demo changes the following:

  • Slots no longer need to be "activated" by making a match of a certain size

    • This was THE thing that new players found the most confusing, so removing this makes it a lot more simple to understand

  • Overhauled File upgrades

    • Replaced "enhancements" and "materials" with "data", "tags", and "utils"

    • Having 3 different File upgrade types means there are more ways to combine them!

  • The default number of moves is 10 now, down from 20

  • Tweaked how initial scoring works and added "Drivers" that let you upgrade the initial scoring

  • A complete tutorial overhaul

    • I've made it a lot simpler and hopefully less overwhelming!

  • A few more items have been added to the demo, but from now on I think I'll save them all for the full release!

  • Updated the music, I think it's pretty funky!

    • "Stop For A Moment" by Vitalezzz - https://opengameart.org/content/stop-for-a-moment

  • Lots of little improvements, balancing, tweaks, and bug fixes!

If you've got any thoughts about any of these new changes, or just general feedback, I'd love to hear it!

Thank you so much to everyone that's playing the demo and wishlisting the game!Cheers,

Barney
