We’ve created a small standalone map specifically for the Demo, designed to bring its exploration, survival, scavenging, crafting, building, and combat systems together in a more focused experience. A full playthrough should take around 2–5 hours, though you’re free to keep exploring and surviving at your own pace.

Over the past month, we’ve completed four rounds of playtesting and continued refining the game’s onboarding and overall experience.

STRAYWARD is a relatively realistic open-world survival game, so it may take a little time to get familiar with its systems. If you ever know what you want to do but aren’t sure how to do it, check the in-game guidebook — most mechanics and controls are explained there.

So, good luck. Stay alive, and see what lies at the end of the road.

And one final piece of advice:

Do not cook TNT! It really isn’t a brand of sausage.
