This new bug fix update focuses on confirmed gameplay, progression, stability, visual, and localisation issues reported since release. This includes fixes for several mission blockers, crashes and combat or skill-related problems, alongside a new setting intended to reduce CPU load on some systems.

We know some players are still waiting for further improvements to performance and other technical issues, this update is not intended to address that. The broader optimisation work continues separately and we'll share updates on that as soon as we can.

You can find the full list of changes below. The changelog is available in English only.

Campaign and Progression

  • Fixed missions becoming impossible to start after investing in Scaevola’s Eradication Ray upgrades while she had numerous active perks.

  • Fixed the Forge City Assault mission failing to trigger after awakening all three tombs surrounding Zeocene.

  • Fixed the Mission Failure screen not appearing when Faustinius was defeated during the final skirmish of Jaws of Defeat.

  • Fixed Command Protocols disappearing after loading an autosave during the final skirmish of Regicide.

Combat, Skills and Units

  • Fixed a brief freeze when the Lokhust Heavy Destroyer used the Enmitic Exterminator.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when a Tesla Carbine attack struck destructible scenery.

  • Fixed Killcycle Canticle granting Multiple Uses on the first use of Invocation of Machine Vengeance and not stacking correctly after repeated uses.

  • Updated Videx’s Ritual description to clarify that allied units cannot activate Canticles while the Ritual is being performed.

  • Updated Machine Spirit Resurgent to clarify that Accelerated is only applied to units within 5 tiles when its Data-choir condition is met.

  • Updated the description of Accelerated to remove an incorrect numerical value.

  • Updated Videx’s upgrade text to clarify that only Videx’s Rituals cost 1 fewer CP to conduct.

  • Fixed the Battleware Override trait tooltip not appearing when highlighting Scaevola’s Battleware Override upgrade.

  • Fixed the first passive trait appearing twice in the recruitment details of multiple Tech-Priests.

  • Fixed Fulgurite Electro-Priests being unable to attack Canoptek Spyders from diagonally adjacent positions.

  • Fixed Hexmark Destroyer attacks failing to generate Dominion from damage dealt.

Interface, Visuals and Localisation

  • Fixed corrupted characters appearing in the Simplified Chinese localisation.

  • Implemented missing French translations in the Lord’s Chamber interface.

  • Fixed unit names being incorrectly aligned when characters appeared on the right side of dialogue conversations.

  • Fixed bright visual artefacts appearing in certain skirmish maps and cutscenes.

Settings

  • Added a new Cloth Quality setting designed to reduce CPU load on some systems.
