THE PAGE SPEAKS YOUR LANGUAGE

DEADLINE's interface now speaks nine languages: English, Español, Français,

Deutsch, Português (Brasil), 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어, and Русский.

The game reads your system language on first boot and simply starts in it.

Changing your mind takes one button in Options — the page turns, and every

menu, hint, and death message comes back rewritten. Yes, the death messages:

"Corrected. In red." now stings in nine languages.

This covers the demo AND the full game at launch — level editor, multiplayer

tables, the Pen Case, all of it. A few longer texts (the chapter flipbook

captions among them) are still being polished and will land translated in an

update; until then they read in English.

One honest note from a solo dev: I wrote these translations carefully, but I

am one person and not nine native speakers. If a line in your language reads

wrong, tell me on the Discord — fixing a string takes me minutes, and I'd

genuinely rather hear about it than have it sit there bothering you.

Ink is permanent. Choose your lines carefully — in whichever language you

choose them.

Here's what's in the works: Everything you can touch now looks touchable. Switches, pressure plates, binder springs, ink nodes, doors, marks, the inkwell, even the paper plane — all of it now wears a heavy dark outline, an accent color, and a soft glow, so puzzle pieces pop off the paper instead of hiding in it. And because "this re…
