This was supposed to be a small update with some fixes, but we ended up implementing a bunch of new features as well! 😅
First of all, the konbini is now open for 24h business! You can buy all kinds of ingredients there, with the huge benefit that everything your buy there will arrive immediately! (In a future patch, things ordered in the fax machine will arrive the next day) We also now have a end of day reward system in place! If you serve a certain number of bowls, earn a certain amount of money and have a certain number of happy customers, you’ll get a nice reward 💰
All kinds of kitchen equipment now have extra features! Some cooking appliances might have their cooking time reduced, while others have a chance to not get dirty or upgrade any ingredients in them. (This is still a work in progress, so you can expect even more appliances with more upgrades!)
To round this update off, we noticed, thanks to everyone in our Discord, that loading after an update would sometimes bork save games. We’ve now implemented a function that checks which version you last saved your game with, and will warn you if the major version (the second to last digit in the version number) has changed. (PS: The first time you try to load after updating, the warning will say that your saved version is -1. This is good and intended!)
