Hello Tadpoles 🐸!
After a lot of headaches to get it working properly, we were finally able to add support for Twitch interactions.
From now on, whoever wants to stream the game will be able to interact with their spectators.
The feature is pretty simple, nothing fancy. By default the integration is disabled, so in order to enable it the streamer needs to go to the "Gameplay" settings, scroll down and enable it.
Then, in the bottom left corner they'll be able to toggle it on/off, of course you'll need to authenticate using the browser to login and generate a token that the app will use for connecting.
In addition, in order to allow the spectators to see the commands they can use through the chat, the streamer can add the twitch extension, accessible via the "Gameplay" settings, (you'll see a text saying "Get the Twitch Extension") it will open in the browser so the streamer can add it as an overlay on top of their stream, and a small balloon with a tooltip will hover on top of their livestream.
Once twitch is connected, the streamer can rename pretty much any frog with the name of any of its spectators. After that, only the spectator with matching name will be able to use commands on that frog. You can find the available commands in our discord server or by using the Extension during the livestream.
We hope you'll enjoy this new feature and that you'll have fun with it.
We'll see you soon when the full game releases!
