The tools of Current Draw are getting a visual overhaul!

I’ve been replacing the older artwork with original, hand-drawn illustrations created specifically for the game. Rather than aiming for perfect realism, I’m focusing on bold shapes and recognizable details that remain clear when the tools appear in the shop and on your tool shelf.

Some of the newly illustrated tools include:

  • Wire Nut

  • Lockout/Tagout Lock

  • AFCI Breaker

  • Time Clock

  • Extension Cord

  • Lighting Contactor

Each tool has its own effect during a run, so it’s important that players can recognize it quickly without stopping to study the artwork. The new illustrations use stronger silhouettes, simplified details, and a shared visual style to help the entire toolbox feel like part of the same game.

This is still a work in progress, and I’ll continue refining the artwork as I see it inside the actual game. More tools—and more artwork updates—are on the way.

Which redesigned tool is your favorite so far? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks for following the development of Current Draw. If its electrical deckbuilding gameplay sounds like your kind of challenge, consider adding it to your Steam wishlist.
