Step Into the Market

Market Panic is a roguelite finance strategy game where every run plays out differently.

In the demo, you’ll get an early look at the core experience:

  • Build and manage your portfolio

  • React to market events and sudden crises

  • Balance risk against potential returns

  • Deal with client pressure and changing expectations

  • Make decisions with consequences that can reshape your run

  • Adapt your strategy as market conditions change

You don't need a finance degree to play. The goal is to turn the chaos, risk, and decision-making of financial markets into a strategic roguelite experience.

The Demo Is Only the Beginning

The full game will expand on the systems available in the demo with more events, strategies, assets, progression, decisions, and ways for the market to ruin your plans.

Market Panic will also be participating in Steam Next Fest beginning October 19, 2026.

Until then, the demo is available to play right now.

I Want Your Feedback

This is an early opportunity to help shape Market Panic before release.

If you play the demo, I’d especially love to hear your thoughts on:

  • How easy the game is to understand

  • The pacing of each run

  • Whether the decisions feel meaningful

  • Difficulty and balancing

  • The user interface and readability

  • What you would most like to see added or improved

Feel free to leave your feedback in the Steam Discussions or join the Market Panic community on Discord.

Wishlist Market Panic

If you enjoy the demo, consider adding Market Panic to your Steam Wishlist.

Wishlisting helps support the game and means Steam can notify you when the full version launches.

Play the demo. Test your strategy. Survive the panic.

Thank you to everyone who has checked out the game so far and welcome to the market.
