New updates to KKND2: Krossfire are now live on the Open Beta branch on Steam!

To access the updates in the Open Beta branch, no password is required. Simply choose 'Open Beta' from the 'Game Versions & Beta' selector in the Steam Client (accessed in the Library by right-clicking the game, then selecting Properties).

Thank you to everyone that has participated in and given feedback during the Closed Beta! Stay tuned for more announcement on the updates to KKND Xtreme and KKND2: Krossfire.

Please send any feedback or reports of issues encountered in the Open Beta version using this form.

Included in this update are:

Fixes to crash bugs and other known issues
Online multiplayer support on modern systems through Steam.
Support for windowed mode (accessed with Alt+Enter) and additional playable resolutions up to 4K.
Improved modding support, including an update to the KKND2 map editor for compatibility with 64-bit operating systems
Restored missing animation
Restored original HD sound effects
Additional language versions (French and German) now selectable through the launcher
New launchers for tweaking game settings
