Hi everyone! The free Hist Maker: ReMake demo is now available on Steam!

This demo includes all 8 current levels and the tutorial, free to play. These levels have been remade from the original Hist Maker, with a redesigned interface and newly illustrated civilization panoramas. Returning players can see how familiar puzzles have changed, while newcomers can start with the tutorial.

Hist Maker: ReMake is a history-themed element-combination puzzle game. Choose two elements you've already discovered and work out how they connect in the era you're exploring. Combine "human" and "stone" to discover a "stone tool", then use that new discovery to keep exploring. As you complete the relevant level objectives, the civilization panorama gradually fills in, bringing the history you've restored into view.

For this demo, we're revisiting the original game's levels. The full game will build on them with more levels to explore across different eras and civilizations.

Head to the store page to download the demo and give it a try. If you enjoy solving puzzles by uncovering connections in history, please consider wishlisting the full game. We'd also love to hear from you in the Steam Community, whether you've run into a problem, got stuck on a puzzle, or made a discovery you found interesting.
