Hi everyone! It’s time for another Tormentum II update, and this one brings a few things we’ve been working on for a while.
First of all, Tormentum II is now available in Czech! Once again, this was made possible thanks to the amazing work of people from our community. We’re incredibly grateful that there are players willing to spend their own time helping us bring the game to more people around the world. And there’s more good news on the localization front: 🇪🇸 Spanish and 🇹🇷 Turkish are also on the way! If everything goes according to plan, both should be available within the next two weeks.
We’ve also moved Tormentum II to a newer version of the engine. Some players may notice improved performance as a result of the migration, but the main reason for this change was the future of the game. We’re currently preparing iOS and Android versions of Tormentum II, while also working on bringing the game to Nintendo Switch.
There’s also something new waiting for those of you who have reached the end of the journey. We’ve added a Music Gallery, available directly from the main menu as a reward for completing the game. If you finished Tormentum II before this update, don’t worry - it should already be unlocked for you, as the game checks one of the achievements awarded near the end of the story.
Another feature that many of you have asked for is finally here: dialogue skipping. We know this was particularly important for players who wanted to experience the game more than once, explore different choices and endings, or simply focus more on the gameplay during another playthrough.
The skip dialogue icon appears in the upper-right corner of the screen whenever there is more than one dialogue line that can be skipped. There are some moments when skipping is temporarily unavailable - for example, when the game is saving important information related to your progress or choices. You can now skip through familiar conversations and move through subsequent playthroughs much faster.
As usual, we’ve also fixed a number of smaller bugs and issues reported by players over the past weeks. Thank you for playing Tormentum II, for sending us feedback, reporting problems, helping with translations, and simply being here. Even after release, we’re still working on the game and trying to make it a little better with every update. And there’s still more to come.
