A big update to the Core Logistics demo is live. The short version: one truck can now run several jobs back to back, prices for each type of cargo change over time, and roads can be slowed down or closed.

What's new

  • One truck, up to three jobs. Line up work so each job loads where the last one dropped off, and the truck never drives empty in between. Reorder the stops to decide which deadline it meets first, or add another job while it is still driving.

  • Prices change. The rate for a type of cargo can rise for a day or two, or fall, and now and then one very large job appears. Each change is announced when it starts, marked on the jobs it affects, and counts down until it ends.

  • Roads can be slowed or closed. An accident makes one stretch slower; a closure shuts it completely. New routes go around it, but a truck already on its way has to drive through it.

  • Licences can be suspended. Sell the last truck that qualified you for one and it goes under review, then is suspended until you re-certify.

  • You have to deliver what you accept. Leave a job past its deadline without sending a truck and the client takes it back, and charges you more than cancelling would have.

  • The map shows more. A loaded truck shows what it is carrying and an empty one
shows nothing, so you can see which trucks are earning. Click a truck to select it. Every
job also names the company it is for.

Balance

  • More jobs on the board to choose from.

  • Every job now covers its own fuel and tolls, so no job on the board loses money before you start (this does not count the empty drive to the pickup).

  • Jobs with a long deadline give noticeably more time and pay a little less. Urgent jobs appear less often.

  • Being late three times in a row costs you a point of reputation. One late delivery still
costs nothing, and any on-time delivery resets the count.

Fixes

  • Crashes when starting a new game or going back to the menu.

  • A loading screen that sometimes did not appear.

  • Panels drawing over each other, and long city names cut short in the forecast.

  • A job card that did not update how many trucks were free.

Community6 Aug 2026The demo is out nowCore Logistics is a management sim about running a trucking company — reading a freight market you can never see all of, and committing a fleet that is always too small for it. What's in the demo The demo is the opening arc: one region, your first trucks, and the point where the company outgrows the setup that got it there. That's where it ends, and where the full game picks up — with hubs, cro…
