Hi everyone!

Thanks a lot for all the great feedback so far! Our team has been busy at work - we fixed a couple of issues and added many quality-of-life improvements.

We also decided to add a completely new toy to the demo: The Particle Accelerator! It works like a planet, but also fires a beam when hit. The beam will trigger other Planets (and other Particle Accelerators), creating an opportunity to earn tons of points.

We're looking forward to see what contraptions you'll create with this new toy. If you like the game and want to support us, wishlisting the game and leaving a review would mean a lot to us!

New Features

  • Added the Particle Accelerator, a new Celestial Body that fires a beam triggering every planet it hits.

  • Added VSync and custom target FPS options to the video settings.

  • Added the “Legendary Mult” milestone, unlocking the Mewteor trail when a Shooting Star reaches 10,000 Mult.

Gameplay & Balancing

  • Buffed “Beyond the Stars” shop and ascension upgrades, allowing a substantially larger play area (and made the description clearer).

  • Buffed a couple of other ascension upgrades.

  • Star Gate spawn positions are now much more varied.

Interface & User Experience

  • Tap WASD or Arrow-Keys to nudge the selected/hovered Celestial Body a tiny bit. Hold the key down to move it continuously.

  • Only show red build-blocking overlay for long movements, not when nudging a Celestial Body briefly.

  • Added directional markers around Celestial Bodies while moving them.

  • Space Cat’s stomach display now clearly shows gained and digested Mult, and digestion rate is at a consistent 5 seconds to make it easier to get a feel for it.

  • Vanity menu button shows the number of unacknowledged new vanity items. Hover over the new items to acknowledge them.

  • Invalid drag-and-drop placements now keep Build Mode active and display “Location Blocked!”.

  • Improved a couple of texts across the board, and started introducing tags for Celestial Bodies to make it easier to describe which effect targets what.

  • Ascension tree: important unlocks are now marked with a star icon.

Visuals & Audio

  • Added animation when Space Cat reveals itself to the player.

  • Made Space Cat's hand and body movement independent.

  • Added some small visual candy, like a hue-shifting effect on the congratulations screen.

Fixes

  • Increased the drag threshold so shop items are easier to click without accidentally dragging the list.

  • Fixed some Shooting Star trail effects appearing in the Ascension view.

  • Fixed Celestial Body selection, movement, and selling while the game is paused.

  • Fixed being able to move Celestial Bodies into each other by combining drag-and-drop with keyboard movement.

  • Fixed visual issues caused by opening the shop or toggling sell mode while dragging a Celestial Body.

  • Prevented Enter from unintentionally activating interface buttons.

  • Fixed screens and overlays occasionally leaving the game in an incorrect paused state.

Community31 Aug 2026Infinity Bounce Dev-Blog #1Welcome to Infinity Bounce's official first development blog post! Many of you have been asking for a way to see which path shooting stars are taking. We've also heard a lot of requests for the ability to single out a shooting star easily. After some tinkering, we've come up with a solution that should cover both of these pain points. There's a new button to toggle "Star Paths". Once enabled, s…
