Exploration in DERELIKT isn’t always about pushing forward. Sometimes, getting new gear means realizing there’s a good reason to head back.
You’ll run into damaged heavy doors that won’t budge, force fields blocking off entire sections, areas with radiation levels way too high to enter safely, and passages you simply don’t have the right equipment to deal with yet.
So you move on.
For now.
As you get your hands on new tools and equipment, they won’t just give you more options in a fight. They’ll also give you more ways to get around the station.
Go back and you may find a hidden supply room, an alternative route through the level, or a section that was sitting just out of reach the first time around. And with ammunition and medical supplies being as valuable as they are, even a small stash can make the detour worth it.
Sure, you can use one to blow hostile abominations or security drones to pieces. But sometimes that charge is better spent blasting open a damaged door or clearing another weakened obstacle standing between you and whatever is on the other side.
Plant it. Step back.
Hit the trigger. Problem solved.
And what’s waiting there might be ammunition, medpacks, useful equipment, another scattered note slowly piecing the lore together.…
...or another fragment of a Glyph.
What exactly are Glyphs?
We’ll get to that in the next transmission.
