Hey everyone,
We’ve just pushed a small server-side change to correct the “Win Streak” value shown on player cards in Pure Pool Pro.
What was wrong?
Until now, the “Win Streak” stat on your online profile card has effectively been broken:
It was polluted by legacy data from before the recent update.
In some cases it appeared to be counting old / incorrect streaks, making numbers obviously impossible (e.g. hundreds or thousands of wins in a row).
As a result, it wasn’t a reliable way to judge how strong an opponent actually is.
In short: the stat had become meaningless, and players were right to call it out.
What we’ve changed
We’ve now cleaned up the underlying data and brought the stat in line with how the rest of the online card works:
“Win Streak” on your player card now reflects your best online win streak, based on our corrected server-side online stats.
This fix was applied server-side only – no download or client update required.
Your Wins, Losses, and Win Ratio are unchanged.
For some players, this will mean their displayed streak has dropped from a huge, unrealistic number to something much more sensible based on actual online performance.
How “Win Streak” behaves going forward
To avoid confusion, here’s exactly how it works from this point on:
The “Win Streak” stat on your player card is your best online win streak.
It does not reset to zero when you lose.
It will only increase if you beat your previous best run of consecutive online wins.
Your full stats (including any historic/offline streaks) are still visible in the in-game Stats menus - we’ve just stopped surfacing those inflated numbers on the player card.
Why this matters
The goal is for your player card to be a quick, honest snapshot of how tough an opponent you’re up against. With this correction in place, “Win Streak” should now be a meaningful indicator of a player’s ability, not a relic of old, buggy data.
Thanks again to everyone who flagged this and shared examples – it helped us track down what was going on and put a proper fix in place.
