Big Update

The live show finally feels like an actual wrestling broadcast, every wrestler and team has entrance music, and heel/face turns are real now. Here's everything.

The Match Engine

  • The new match engine is now on for everybody — every match type in the game runs through it. You don't have to touch a setting.
  • I spent a bunch of rounds playtesting and tuning it: ratings are honest now, finishes actually read like finishes, and the play-by-play doesn't sound like a robot wrote it.
  • Every wrestler has their own moveset, and the commentary calls their actual moves by name.
  • Lazy booking hurts you now. Run the same match twice in one night and your rating will feel it.

Watch Show — it's a real broadcast now

  • The show you watch IS the real match — not a copy. What you see is what happened.
  • Show-open title card in your promotion's colors, pyro, crowd noise under the whole show, the bell, and the crowd reacts to who's actually out there — faces get cheered, heels get booed, and a hot crowd will break into chants.
  • Full ring entrances. The music hits, they come down the aisle, you get the hometown, the weight, the nickname — the whole classic announcement. Even interviews and promos get proper entrances now.
  • Tag teams, trios, stables, and factions come out TOGETHER, to the team's own music, with everyone on the stage.
  • The announce desk remembers things. "He has NEVER beaten this man." Old betrayals, losing streaks — they bring it up. And the commentators are real people with names and their own styles.
  • The broadcast knows your storylines. It talks about the feud where it actually is, calls turns live when they happen, and announces match rules correctly — including the big team stuff like six-mans and faction warfare.
  • Interviews actually say something now. Who it's about, what's at stake, what title is hanging over it. And if someone just turned, they explain themselves on the mic.
  • Producer calls actually change the show, there's a skip-to-results button if you're in a hurry, and venues and commentators show up on the broadcast.

Entrance Music

  • Every single wrestler in the current era — all 224 of them — has their own theme song now. Every team, stable, and faction too. Your existing save picks them all up automatically.
  • You can change anyone's theme right from the edit button on their card, with a play button to preview songs. Same thing for teams and stables, and in the World Editor. You can upload your own clips and trim them to the part you want.
  • Fixed the bug where you couldn't hear the music during shows. Turns out the themes were getting buried under the crowd noise — I remastered every single one louder, the crowd quiets down when a theme hits, and the pop comes right AFTER the music instead of stepping on it.

Storylines & Turns

  • Heel and face turns are REAL now. Their alignment flips, the crowd treats them different, they get new music, and they cut a promo on the next show explaining why they did it. The deeper into a storyline it happens, the bigger the shock.
  • The crowd can push a turn on its own — a heel the fans love will get a face-turn pitch, and a worn-down babyface can snap. The crowd leads, you decide.
  • Partners can turn on each other after a loss. Storyline endings care about who actually won. And when a big feud pays off, the fallout can spin into a brand new storyline.
  • New storyline types: Worked Shoot, Monster, and Mystery Reveal.
  • Run-ins, ambushes, and brawls have real consequences now.

Teams, Stables & Factions

  • You can make Trios and Factions in-game now, right from the same create buttons — pick the type from a dropdown and it tells you the rules (trios are exactly 3, factions need 4+ and a leader).
  • Fixed the tag team edit button opening the wrong screen. It shows the current members now and has a proper dropdown to add people.
  • Cards are labeled so you can actually tell what's a stable, faction, tag team, or trio.
  • Added big team matches — six-man, eight-man, ten-man, full faction warfare — plus new stable and faction angles.

Championships

  • When you create a title you pick Men's, Women's, or Intergender — and it only shows you wrestlers who fit, from YOUR promotion. Works in the World Editor, templates, exports, and Workshop too.
  • Tap a title card to flip it over — last three champs, longest reign, and what brand it's on.
  • Fixed belts showing two champions at once, and title match eligibility after a title changes hands.

Roster & Locker Room

  • Fixed wrestlers coming back from injury but staying "Unavailable" forever. Booking cards also show honest labels now — injured, on vacation, holding out — with an icon telling you how long.
  • Fixed roster card backs getting cut off, fixed the roster search box, and the locker room boards don't run forever anymore — they cap at 10 and scroll.

Dashboard

  • Cleaned up the dashboard — no more giant blank gaps. Cards size to what's in them.

That's it for now. If you hit anything weird, let me know.
