Promo Wrestling World — Brand Split & Draft Night Update

Hey everyone! This is a big one. You can now split your promotion into rival brands — two (or three) competing rosters under one banner — and setting those rosters up plays out as a full televised Draft Night! You can also finally run a separate TV deal for each of your shows, upload logos for your shows and PPVs, and there's a big pile of fixes and polish on top.

🟥🟦 Brand Split — Run Rival Brands (New System!)

Split your one promotion into two or three rival brands, each with its own roster, weekly show, and championships — then let the crowds argue over which side runs the better show.

  • Name and color each brand. The color carries everywhere so you can tell them apart at a glance.

  • Brand rules are enforced across the board — a brand's show only books its own roster (the booker, Auto-Fill, and AI Book all respect it), a card that breaks the rules won't run, and the Booking Assistant tells you exactly what to fix.

  • PPVs stay cross-brand automatically, so the big nights still mix everyone.

  • Brand championships can only be defended on their own shows — leave a belt Global and both sides can chase it.

  • Cross-brand appearances — a per-segment toggle in the Segment Editor lets you sneak a wrestler onto the other brand's show for invasion angles, open challenges, and dream matches. Off-brand wrestlers are greyed out until you flip it.

  • Free Agents — mark any wrestler as a free agent (not tied to a brand) so they can work both shows. There's a Free Agents popup that lists everyone unassigned with one-click "assign to brand" buttons.

  • Everyone you sign gets a brand — pick it right in the contract negotiation; call-ups, poaches, and other signings auto-land on the thinnest roster so nobody slips through unassigned.

🎬 Draft Night — Set Your Rosters Like a Live Broadcast (New System!)

Schedule a Draft Day and it plays out like a televised event.

  • Watch it unfold — the on-the-clock brand in its own colors, a big pick number, slow dramatic reveals with wrestler portraits, crowd reactions, an analyst/fan ticker, and round-break "Draft Desk" beats.

  • Or make the picks yourself — when a brand's on the clock, draft from a fit-scored shortlist (with "Auto best available" and "Auto-pick the rest"), or just sit back and watch the whole thing run.

  • Auto-draft for an instant one-click redistribution, and improved roster balancing so the split is fair.

  • Choose whether free agents get thrown into the draft or stay unassigned.

  • Final results show — draft grades per brand, the night's biggest headlines, and fun superlatives (Biggest Steal, Best Value, Biggest Reach).

  • Set your opening rosters your way the moment you create a split — draft it live, make the picks, auto-split, or assign by hand.

  • Draft Day reminders hit your inbox, calendar, and dashboard, and the Brands tab lights up when it's time to run it.

📺 Multiple TV Deals — A Network Per Show

  • Negotiate a separate TV deal for each weekly show — signing a deal for your second show no longer wipes out your flagship deal.

  • "My Deal" lists every active deal — flagship and secondary side by side, each renegotiable on its own.

  • The negotiate flow now tells you which show a deal is for, and a show's network picker only offers networks you've actually negotiated with.

🖼️ Show & PPV Logos

  • Upload logos for your shows and PPVs in the World Editor — they now show up in Booking, TV Contracts, and on the Brands screen.

  • Better venue image upload and persistence, and they display properly while you're booking.

🎨 Brand Color, Everywhere

  • Each brand's color now shows on the roster board (a dot on every wrestler, plus a CHAMP crown on champions), the calendar (each brand's show gets tinted), the roster card backs, the booking projection strip, and the booked show's name — so you always know whose night it is.

🛠️ Fixes and Polish

  • World Editor pull/push is fixed for TV tier, show logos, PPV logos, venue images, and brand assignments — edits round-trip into your game reliably.

  • Fixed a World Editor spreadsheet import bug — imported wrestlers left without a company were sometimes accidentally signed to your promotion instead of staying free agents.

  • Cleaned up dead nav/search routes, and rival scheduled shows show up on the calendar again.

  • Sidebar activity glow is just the icon now — the tab keeps its normal colors; the icon goes gold when a tournament or Draft Day is waiting on you.

  • Rename your brands any time on the Brands screen.

  • Polished the Finance tabs/customization and the tournament desk (UX + performance).

  • A big pass of save-safety and regression coverage under the hood — World Editor templates, imports/exports, brands, media, and advancing time.

Thanks as always for playing and for all the feedback!
